No, John, those are from that period. They were very developed by that time as they had become the non-horse transportation of the middle class in the period before autos were affordable by the average person. . There was even a New York to San Francisco cross country race in 1913.
The ultimate thought as to all these people is that none of them had any idea of the absolute shit storm of history that was about to engulf them over the next 25 years.
