Polar Nights As Seen by a British Photographer Simon Roberts

Фотография:

Images of a British photographer Simon Roberts who came to the Kola Peninsular, Russia, almost fourteen years ago and saw polar nights. In this period of the year (from December to January), the region sees no daylight 24/7. The sun almost does not show up from behind the horizon, and amazing light effects can be observed.

In the extreme weather conditions Simon decided to use an ordinary film medium format camera instead of expensive equipment.
