In Soviet time the idea that all professions were equal was rather popular. And it was cool. Kids were taught to respect any labor. And people really worked hard – both physically and intellectually. Not for salary – for results. And the system encouraged them, gave them confidence in the future. After school or army service everyone could get a job. Vladimir Sokolaev, who most of his life lived in Novokuznetsk, took many memorable photos, many of them featured those very well motivated working people.

Thank’s very nice to see all those people and their purpose for them selfes and for society and all completely absent of US dominated social networks and propaganda.
Many businesses ended up having 4 times the number of employees than were needed. The consequence was that wages were badly depressed due to the Soviet requirement that everyone could claim a job.
In the Soviet era many went to their job and did almost nothing all day.
