  2. This priest Shiigumen Sergius , a former police officer who previously spent 13 years in prison for murder, is well known among Russia’s Christian community. Notably, he is the former confessor of Russian MP and former Crimean prosecutor Natalia Poklonskaya.

    He’s very controversial and resides in the Ekaterinburg diocese.

  3. I never understood why the Russian orthodox church allows every moron to be a monk!? Well, catholic church isn’t better but hey, at least dumbbells, dullards and halfwits aren’t allowed to join any of their monastic order.
