There is a special house in Klimovo, Bryansk region of Russia. It’s not easy to find though when you don’t know the route. It does not look very attractive, the paint on the facades is peeled. But the main thing is hidden inside…
The owner of the house is Vladimir Akulov. He is not getting surprised to have uninvited guests. Many people have heard about the unusual interior he has made with his own hands, and they come to see it with their own eyes. When they enter they get truly impressed – the place looks like a museum or royalchambers. Carved wooden furniture, unusual floor, paintings in pricey frames – these things have nothing to do with an ordinary village house.
But each element of the interior is made by Vladimir himself. He does not have a special education being a self-taught master. Most of the furniture pieces are made from linden. The golden shine is achieved by means of Japanese brass leaf.
Apart from carved decor elements, one can also see murals on the ceiling and paintings – they are made by Vladimir as well.
The tsar’s throne.
