In the Leningrad region, Russia, one can come across these whitened Russian stoves standing in the field. They look quite weird, why are they there? In fact, these stoves are remains of the village destoyed by fire in the war days. When you realize this, you feel all the terror of those events. People had taken hot bread out of these stoves, used them to warm their houses in cold months. And now they stand like memorials.
