    • Because they have to. It is illegal and therefore not fit for human consumption because what is in it, exactly? If they sold it and someone got sick or died who is responsible? It might be fit for industrial uses but again, what is in it? Can you use it and not destroy a very expensive chemical batch of some product from a company?

      Either way you have to ship it, test it and certify it. That costs money and alcohol from approved sources is very cheap. It is government taxes that make drinking booze expensive.

      I know I wouldn’t drink illegal alcohol because I don’t know if they made it right. Why take the chance?
