Man Sells Mammoth Wool Beanie, One in the World, for $10000

Man of Yakutia, Ru, sell “one and only hat (beanie) made of Mammoth wool. Price is $10,000 and has a certificate of authenticity.”

“My uncle was collecting mammoth wool in permafrost. Got whole bag of it, then sold to me. I was thinking for long time what to do with it, then decided to make a hat. In Yakutia we make traditional hats out of horse wool, so I thought why not make one from mammoth wool?”.

He then brought the wool to the professional who made the actual hat.

He brought the hat to the director of Mammoth museum for verification. He tried it on and said it’s very prickly. “It doesn’t smell of anything and very stiff”, says the director.
