    • It also means that ‘the State’ is concerned about the public infrastructure. And now, look again at those pics.

      • I looked again. I still see a lot of expensive and vulgar ostentation installed at a time when people elsewhere in the Soviet Union had no functioning public transport. I do NOT see evidence that your rulers ‘care’ about your welfare.

        • Putin……I tend to agree with you. Ostentatious public structures and substandard tiny apartments [ the glum Khrushchyovka ] for the masses…..most of which are now being demolished.

          • …” Ostentatious public structures and substandard tiny apartments…”.- Funny. Those apartments were almost free in the USSR (a country that doesn’t exist today).

Perhaps you want Detroit’s expensive “crumbling public structures and substandard tiny apartments”. Well that’s what you have today.

        • …”when people elsewhere in the Soviet Union had no functioning public ….”.- Huh… Soviet Union? That country doesn’t exist.

Perhaps you’re living in another Century.

…” I do NOT see evidence that your rulers….”.- LOLZ
