This morning some Russian people woke up to the inability to log to their messaging app of the choice. It just showing “Connecting..” but never actually does. They have chosen the app for its minimalistic design, fast messaging, no ads, cross platform availability and cloud file storage. Also an encryption. This encryption became the reason why the Government decided to stop the app from operating. They wanted to get the backdoor to be able to read the messages, however the messanging app management didn’t comply (on contrary some other famous messaging apps, like Facebook’s WhatsApp continue operating seaminglessly which means they gave all the access codes to the Russian authorities probably). To mark this day we post a posting with a smiling Stalin.

  1. All US app developers cooperate with their govt in matters of national security; russians however, who are “smarter”, don’t. The gvt does what it has to do.

  2. He was 5′ 4”….and his face was deeply pitted by pox scars. He feared most people near him, even his own family members were victims of his paranoia….

  3. You can’t undo history, you have to live with it: Russia with Stalin and Germany with Hitler. But… in terms of people killed there were other great war criminals, but they were the victors…

    • His tenure as leader was basically a non-stop reign of terror. He came from a very poor background, rejected religion and became a brutal revolutionary fix-it man. Being insecure by nature, that made it all worse for everyone and everything he touched. Following WW I…..Russia went from the frying pan into the fire.

  4. Upd: after send this (new)messages – it reposted…(~Cockies troubles? on this page its asked by browser, on him – no… and maybe text – self-marked as spam on it resend(even with than fully enable cockies&Refferer)? – and ~needed other text(here) to reset this bug)
