We all know about Pripyat thanks to Chernobyl accident. However Pripyat it’s not only the town where the nuclear power plant was. Pripyat is a name for the river too. It goes all the way from Ukraine to Belarus and especially nice looking in spring when it gets overflown by melting snow water and becomes huge. Belarus photographer Sergei went there and made some photos, let’s take a look.
Waters of the river in spring flood many villages and small towns.
Belarus doesn’t have its own sea access, however in spring this Pripyat river looks like a sea.
Many places are accessible only by a boat.
