Central Museum of armored vehicles, Kubinka. Blogger goes there and now we have an awesome report!
Some time ago I had a chance to visit a cool dump of abandoned tanks twice.
For the first time, even though I had a camera with me, I was so lazy for some reason that I didn’t get it out of the bag and made all photos of tanks with mobile and my companions didn’t want to climb on tanks.
But on the second time I came back with a company that wanted to climb on them and make a lot of photos.
And here I faced a serious problem – the sun was shining from the bust side!
Going out there and making photos of these machines having a feeling that you can be busted seemed unsafe, we had to take pictures against the bright light …
Processing, of course, was able to get rid of a range of light and shadow and make something pretty, but it was very acid!
We first came to the dump just from the bust side – because we just walked past and decided that nothing prevents us to go here.
The range of tanks is really wide – but it is clear that someone always drives near them …
The first exhibit that was interesting to me was such a ship-tank!
The floating structure, in which you can place a normal tank– or maybe even a couple – and sail across the water surface
Then there were a lot of tanks – powerful, rusty and very cool!
Some even have an active armor and all sorts of different non-standard guns, because I have, in general, not even sure that this is the tanks
I understand Nothing in tanks, but I was told in Instagram that this is a fire tank Impulse-Storm!
Ololo, and I would think that this is something RCBP
In general, Impulse-Storm is made on the basis of T-62 and is a multifunctional machine of materials explosive spraying intended on extinguishing fires of different classes by supplying extinguishing agents onto the heat source.
It is able to provide half tons of fire extinguishing powder or liquid in a spray form in just 4 seconds. In the case of the liquid it greatly increases the ability to cool the heat source. This technology gives a possibility to create powerful extinguishing effects over the entire area or volume.
The main difference of this installation is a strong impact force on the seat of fire in connection with extinguishing effect produced by special powders. (It was a quote)
Then there was a car, that didn’t look like tank did not like, that does not make them less steep as a whole
Then, I was very pleased that I found a pretty dump, and began planning the next trip
Which had occurred two weeks later – in the past comfortable, sunny weekend so far!
I was with camera and began to walk through District with parked cars and take pictures from all available sides. The problem was not only in the sense of incriminating and assurances of friend that cameras are just right after us, but also in a very close – and sometimes non-existent distance between tanks
Shooting against the sun – it’s a stupid idea! In the viewfinder, and on the camera screen, the result looked like something completely dark on a light background, but the RAW is wonderful!
As a result, I pulled everything from gallery that I could
As a result, the sky sometimes acquired some unhealthy shade, but rusty tanks themselves were pictured fine – textured and so cool!
Status of most of them can be considered as extremely lousy
But if you do not look inside, it is very interesting.
Somewhere there is the distance between the fence and tank that is even slightly uncomfortable
But there are some with a very spacious accommodation
And some tanks grow in grass and moss!
I want to tell you that it is really very impressive to walk between tanks! Especially when somewhere very close there are shots (!) and other tanks are driven(!!!)
In the background, there is the same ship-tank to which I even forgot to come
The same fire impulse-storm
And the same tank or not a tank with active armor and strange cannons
Strange thing with a glass cabin instead of the tower
Angry armored car
And – suddenly – burnt rotten planes!
But there is not so many planes but a lot of tanks
Of course, it would be a sin to visit the graveyard of tanks and not get inside many of them
Inside the tank it is very cramped and not particularly interesting – but perhaps this is due to the totally awful interior
I get out of one tank and go to the next open
There is really sad inside
And we go further, past the tank with cauldron on the roof
To get into a very interesting and cool tank of unknown model
It is remarkable with its devices inside – and not in terms of metal in them, as some might think, but from the perspective of the aesthetic component
There are lot of very strange instruments, including such TANK TRIP COMPUTER
There are a lot of buttons on it, even the alarm button is right there at the top
And the screen! I wonder what was shown on it- some diagram of the machine condition? Map like in the Navigator? Or maybe a picture FROMthe camera ?? Maybe it was parktronic
It is quite difficult to understand the purpose of this equipment, especially for me, so I will continue showing the external pictures
On that day there was a great sky with lots of beautiful clouds, but on the pictures with the sky there was a color game which I was too lazy to understand
When we walked through all tanks, we got out of the area and went home
So that was our tank trip
Thank you for attention!
