A most famous Moscow criminal police office has opened to the public its display of various seized handguns and other weapons the criminals have used over the years. Lot’s of interesting stuff they collected since 1946.
A lot of hand-made guns like the one above.
Gans from many foreign countries including Belgium and France.
Some exotic guns like this one “Le Protector” from France.
“Colibri” from Belgium.
Another exotic one from France.
And this one is unique one from USSR “TP-82”.
This one is called “The Shooting Knife” from China.
“Selfmade Shooting Gadget”.
Selfmade “revolver” pistol.
“Inter Arms” USA.
“Self-made machine hand gun”.
AR-7 USA.
AP-9 USA.
“Intratec USA”
Lots of guns.
Bergman out of 1897, made in Germany.
Mauser, France, 1934.
Also some swords. Imagine a criminal with a sword? But it happened.
Russian gun from Tula.
MANN gun from Germany.
And now one of the most exotic ones, from past centuries, but still were used by some criminals in 20th century.
“Parabellum”
Kobra, Germany.
Lignose, Germany.
And of course some UZIs.
Russian “UZI” called “Iceberg”.
A gun masked as a flashlight, made in Russia.
This is a cartridge of a special Soviet “non sound” ammo, which cuts off the shooting gases inside the cartridge and preventing the shooting sound.
And even some medieval canons. Criminals with medieval canons, only in Russia.
Hope you liked the collection!
Amazing collection and nice pictures…Best Regards
10th picture down is desribed as a “Self Made Revolver”. But you can clearly see the Smith and Wesson logo. It’s ma S&W .38 Snub nose if I’m not mistaken.
Maybe the grips were self made. But not the rest of the gun.
I also noticed the mistake about the Smith and Wesson. Also, and this is just pure conjecture, but I would wager that most of the more antique, exotic and bladed weapons were probably just in someone’s collection that got confiscated during a search rather than actually used in crimes.

I expect you’re right. And who knows how long some of these had been in police storage before going on display.
I’m glad to see that they’re being preserved, tho, and hope that becomes the norm. Here in America, confiscated weapons are often destroyed — even valuable antiques.
Excellent posting,very interesting.
Quite an interesting collection, beautifully presented.
Is that a homemade machine gun?
I’m impressed that a criminal used a cannon. As you say — only in Russia! 🙂
lol. i have couple of the knives of page 10.
TP-82 (7th picture) is pretty unique survival gun dedicated for Soviet cosmonauts. “The Shooting Knife” on 8th picture isn’t really shooting nor from China. It is machette which also served as buttstock for the gun.
Thanks for the info, I hadn’t thought to look it up. Wikipedia says, “It was intended as a survival aid to be used after landings and before recovery in the Siberian wilderness.” Very interesting (and a good bit of planning). Did any cosmonaut ever have to use it?
more info about space gun is here: http://modernfirearms.net/shotgun/rus/tp-2-e.html
As far I know none cosmonaut have to use it. Mainly because space landings become much more precise over time.
Great collection, the type of guns used by the Russian mob is really impressive.
