Some time before we published from time to time some of the creepiest images taken at Russian kids playgrounds. For some reason many cities have plenty of those – maybe because the playgrounds are maintained by enthusiasts who are not very aesthetically sound and just do their best to support what they have. But this doesn’t make this things installed on the playgrounds look less creepy and strange. Just I am sure you would be shocked on how strange Russian playgrounds can look. In many instances you won’t be able to identify what the authors have tried to achieve, and be swept away by the materials they used. Really depressing scenery inside!
What are those? Horses?
And what’s this? A pig?
Probably a pig too.
A cat? A horse?
This looks pretty funny.
Something made of scrap cans.
A hare, definitely.
This is probably a young boy’s head with a bowl in its skull, birds nearby probably got used to eating food from it.
Here is a bird by the way.
Hm, a tire snake or alligator eating a ball with a funny rabbit.
A dog? An Eskimo’s deer with an Eskimos (chukcha) person?
Not actually a playground probably but just an installation on a sidewalk – probably a swan.
And now some penguins?
A heart made of plastic bottles painted white.
A creepy girl in blue dress, smiling with a creepy smile and having a red heart bruised.
A human-faced octopus with mosaics and teenage turtle mutant ninja patch.
These are a crocodile and a cheburashka. You should probably know what is cheburashka by now.
A friendly family including a rat biting a cat on its tale, a dog, and black skinned Russian family.
Pinocchio? An elf? Yes, probably a creepy version of a Pinocchio it has a “golden” key in its hand – this is a usual attribute of Russian version of Pinocchio called “Buratino”.
What is this? A colorful lizard bench?
A dragon with its lower part made of tires and its upper body made of something unknown.
A monkey and a bucket?
A bear? A bunny?
This is funny. It’s a crocodile (made of green plastic bottles and having an accordion) nd a Cheburashka with red plastic bottle hair.
Some creeps having dinner.
What is interesting, those are images from tens of playgrounds taken in totally different Russian cities, but they have something very common in all the, some unique style – not by one person but rather probably some unique Russian urban style.
Three bears for sure.
Well, a sandbox with a wooden smiling red lips idol in the middle and a slide going in almost “L” angle.
Probably a pig.
A crocodile and no Cheburashka, where is it?
A something wearing red polka dot tie. Looks a bit like a Groot but in pink.
This is a blue pony or a donkey with black bruised eye. More than that the sign says “BITCH”. Probably added later.
Hm. A family of some sort of forest goblins?
The smiling ball and a crazy looking scarecrow of the fox looking at it.
On the right it is a crocodile. You can be sure that’s it is a crocodile by an accordion in its hands. On the left its Cheburashka. What’s in the background? A pig with a strange smile?
A bear and a Masha.
Hm a scary thing with a basin on its head and also a small something looking like an elephant.
This thing asks to be burned.
Those are some depressing koalas or pandas.
Hm a Russian hat was turned in a creepy looking bunny.
This kids playground has a fence made of beer bottles with their “BEER” labels still on, also a pyramid of bottles, and some more bottles ornaments inside.
Someone just took his old plush toy and nailed it with the biggest nail he could find to the tree on the playground. Here kids, go play with this.
A Crocodile with his accordion a cheburashka and a crazy looking deer or moose in pink.
This one is pretty crazy too.
What did they try to achieve here?
I like how the empty vodka bottle is laying down in the middle of this playground.
Hope you really liked this collection!
