On April 25 in Saint Petersburg an aerobatic team “Russian Knights” took part in the air show to support the action “Military Contract Service for the Russian Armed Forces is your choice”. Thousands of people have come to see the show over the Gulf of Finland. Such a spectacle is the result of very hard professional work of pilots, engineers, technicians, servicemen. Blogger rukabaa has visited an airfield Sormovo belonging to the aircraft construction plant “Sokol” in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The airfield has an air strip 2987 meters long and 70 meters wide, three airsides along the air strip for equipment parking and hangars.  Here we show you one of these airsides and get into a combat fighter MiG-31.

Pereslavl-Zalesskiy is one of the oldest Russian cities (founded in 1152) and is a popular tourist destination. It is located 140 km from Moscow and still has wonderful architectural monuments and interesting historic sites.

Blogger andreyphoto used a trike to take cool photos of the city from the height of its flight. It is amazing how differently the sun-drenched place looks from above, even when terrains are absolutely flat.
