Life is Bad in Western Countries

Life is Bad in Western Countries

People in Western European countries live miserable lives.  We will prove this to you with this set of photographs taken out on the streets of the worst European and Western world countries. Every example is signed and certified. Like the one on top. It shows how miserable is to live in Norway – you can see the group of seamen fishing for black caviar, in Bergen. See more examples of why is it is bad to be a citizen of the civilized part of the world. You will see the first road crossings with artificial intelligence in the world, the first railroad without rails or with varying gap between rails in the world, an outrageous quarrel in a regular Dutch family and much, much more!

  1. I have a strange feeling. What is the aim of this post?
As most of the pics are from Russia, is it a critic of Russia?
It was not really funny in my honest opinion… Maybe it is Friday and I lost my sense of humour 🙂

    • It is sarcastic answer to official russian propaganda. Propaganda tell us that Russia is greatest country in the world. Pictures tell us it is not.

  2. Typical Russian humor, Soviet style! Outstandingly funny, great, it made my day! Thanks, English Russia, you are one my favorite websites.

  3. It’s no secret that the living standard and infrastructure in Russia is not that of the west, but to think the west has no scenes like this is only kidding themselves. It’s easy for us in the “east part of the west” to think USA is exactly like they portray themselves in movies and TV-shows, but as anyone who has traveled there can tell you, it’s a complete shit-hole with deteriorating infrastructure in many places. Probably closer to Russia than many other western countries, in this regard.

  4. good joke! yes the pictures are from russia but the worse part is that some of this pictures are true over europe!norway got some bad roades and germanys roads are filled with road repairs…
From my own country sweden the train will be late becuse the autunm leaf is on the track until the winter comes then its the damn snow!….

  5. Congratulations!!!! This is one of the best posts ever in a website which is great already. Your sarcasm and irony were just marvelous in the way it criticises what need to be criticised. Great post!!!!!!

  6. Only a country that feels confident will make such fun of itself! Fun page; I liked the small crowd pushing the ailing tram (everybody getting together to help) The Barcelona FC
practice field similar to one in my city in US. PS – hope the FedEX folks have a sense of humor!

  7. “Uri Geller demonstrates illusions to passers by, Redding, England.” – all the inscriptions there are in Russian. Haha!

  8. Franzelutza, all these photos were obviously taken in Russia! That’s the way Russians are used to laugh of their country, inherited from Soviet times.

  9. BUT IT’S NOT APRIL FIRST YE-…… oh, I get it… decided to take your readers by surprise! Well, you got me! Hilarious!

  10. At first this was funny but towards end I felt sadness and compassion. The pic from “Danmark” was actually from Finland, I think. We have some minor issues too. Best greetings!

  11. Is this supposed to be funny, or do people actually belive the text even though the pictures have already been on this site, as examples of russia?

  12. [closed captioned for the humor-impaired]

I had a big grin following the pictures and captions, and a sad face as I saw how many commenters completely missed the point.

Over the years ER has occasionally made gentle fun of Imperial, Soviet, and Federal Russia; I suppose some people thought ER was serious there, too.

  13. YEAH…don’t be so cocky! I came to USA 18 years ago, and just for fun, I made a 30 pictures for my friends in old country, pictures where USA look like some opscure THIRD WORLD COUNTRY! Some of them are worst than any of those here…Be aware that today you can make pictures of Russia where that country looks like Switzerland! If you are uneducated, ignorant, and hate Russians, those pictures of Russia can make you a happy…

  14. Sarcasm can be a way to criticize with some humour. Maybe it was done this way to escape censorship, maybe it is just a funny lark. Ease up it is all not serious. Some pictures are posed, some taken after an accident or disaster.
