Beauty and Volcanoes of Kamchatka

 Beauty and Volcanoes of Kamchatka

Here are some photos of the Kamchatka region – the one with volcanoes and bears, as seen by a tourist. Denis travelled there and took these nice photos. He says that nature there is a lot like the regular Siberian nature, however there are active volcanoes which add to the view and because this place is on the coast it’s more damp there so fogs are daily things. Let’s see what else he found there:

As soon as you arrive at Kamchatka airport you already start seeing beautiful mountains, which are actually volcanoes.

If you go to a local beach you will be able to see another volcano if the weather conditions are good. Beauty and Volcanoes of Kamchatka

And here is a panoramic shot of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski – the capital of the region with, again, a volcano in the background rising up into the clouds. Beauty and Volcanoes of Kamchatka

The forests are very dense in the region.

And this one is the tallest active volcano in Europe and Asia. It’s almost 5 km tall.  Beauty and Volcanoes of Kamchatka

Some more volcanoes.Beauty and Volcanoes of Kamchatka

That’s not dust on the road, that is volcanic ash. It doesn’t settle until a long time after a car has passed on the road.Beauty and Volcanoes of Kamchatka

A ferry boat from one side to another, and a volcano.Beauty and Volcanoes of Kamchatka

Volcano in the mirror too. Whenever you go to Kamchatka you will probably be able to see those huge fire-throwing mountains, so that’s why it attract tourists, it doesn’t matter that you have to fly for 10 hours to get here from Moscow.

Again, thanks to Denis for his story and photos!
