    • On Lake Baikal in winter always ride in cars. Fishermen, tourists and locals. And on Olkhon Island on the ice go, there is an official ice road, but many go anywhere. Every year someone falls. Sometimes fall into a deep places and cars remain at the bottom of the lake.

  1. Well, having in mind that temperature there drops way below 0C ice becomes a very rigid surface (not in this case) so they use it instead of roads.
Reminded me of a seasonal road in Estonia http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/9450807.stm – no seatbelts allowed 🙂

  2. Does anyone know name of the song and name of the band that plays it? Loved the video by the way, i liked the fact that there where any machines used to get that car out of the lake, impressive!
