Not far from the old city of Torzhok in the Tver city of Russia there is a village Gruziny – the former property of the Russian noble family of the Poltoratskiye. They had a summer residence there which soooner resembled a palace. The house once having 120 rooms was one of the richest mansions of the Tver province. All that splendour has not been preserved to the present day, of course. But the palace is still wonderful.
