Illegally In Pripyat

Illegally In Pripyat

Yes, it’s about Pripyat again, but no abandoned dolls, kindergartens, decaying books and portraits of leaders this time. This report is mainly about penetration of stalkers to the exclusion zone and landscapes available for observation only to those who come there illegally – all these sunsets, twilight and nights…

  1. Cool pictures but it´s stupid, stupid, stupid to spend a lot of time in a radiation zone. There is a reason for the short timelimits on guided tours.
Those poor kids will all die of cancer.

  2. You can go to Pripyat as a tourist. Around 9000 persons do each year. If you visit Kyiv I recommend to spend a day visiting the forbidden zone.

In the cooling waster outside the power plant I saw the biggest catfish I’ve ever seen. They didn’t seem to mind the radiation. But I would have loved taking my bicycle cycling around, and also visiting the huge radio jammer just outside.

  3. wouldn’t sleeping on a roof yield maximum exposure to radioactive fallout residue? Alternatively it’s been washed away from the roof and it’s a safer place to be.

  4. the word ‘penetration’ and ‘stalkers’ kinda weird to describe this activity but oh well nice pic, love to visit there one day
