  1. Please make an effort to catch up with the rest of the world on the sexism front. Athletics and sport generally are nothing whatsoever to do with appearance, attractive or otherwise, but are about performance and character only. Are you planning a similar piece on good-looking men who are competing? I doubt it. Your otherwise excellent site is compromised by stuff like this.

    • Why should they? I hope Russia will continue to remain an island of reason in the roaring storm of politcal correctness. They are sane enough to recognize the fact that people of different sexes are in fact different no matter how hard it hurts the feelings of certain minorities. They recognize women as women and do not attempt to play sexually impaired.
I hate a lot of things about Russia, but not this.

    • You are a fool and obviously haven’t been on ER long.

The US and western Europe is NOT “The Rest of the World” and “sexism” in this regard is meaningless.

Nobody, you retard, opened up this page to look at athletes but to look at beautiful women and as most of the visitors are male we sure don’t want to bl00dy see any men.

    • Oh pipe down Martin, no one cares about your self righteousness. No one cares about female athletics unless the women involved are beautiful. And believe it or not, some men actually like to look at attractive women

    • Err… Martin, with the “rest of the world” just recovering from the latest bout of Ronda Rousey craze, there’s not too much catching up to do…

    • Hihi, catch up with the rest of the world? Do you think you are the centre of the universe? The rest of the world does not necessarily share your leftist political correct ideas. I’m a girl, but I can enjoy a picture of a beautiful woman. And I know nothing about tennis, but when Naomi Osaka plays, I can’t stop watching her. Is that sexist? If you think so, that’s ok, everybody is entitled to have at least one stupid idea.
