Last weekend Yandex shot panoramas in Gorky Park and Chistiye Prudy for its maps. For shooting in a pedestrial area they designed a special three-wheeled bicycle letting them shoot with no violation of traffic rules.

To power the whole system there is a big storage battery on the carrier that provides energy enough for two shooting days.

  1. Google Streetview is now available in the Ukraine, Latvia and Estonia. In Russia it is available in Moscow, St. Petersburg and parts of Kazan.
