  1. I am in awe of the brave Russian men and women who fought ( and worked in the mines,factories,docks etc:)under unbelievable pressure in the defeat of the arrogant,cowardly Nazi dogs.
    My utmost respect.

    • Yes, women did a lot of job on the front line, they were medics, many were providing communications. Women were excellent snipers and reconaissance pilots. Their participation on the front line was voluntary but there was no shortage in women volunteers.
