  1. So, does it even work? I don’t mind, if it doesn’t shoot, but does it even run? Or does it just stand and look pretty?

    Not impressed.

  2. It should say, “How to build something that LOOKS like a tank”.

Impressive, but NOT a tank. And certainly NOT a Tiger tank. Although, I can see why, they are not that many of them out there.
After the war, they were pretty much ALL destroyed.
There’s a show in the US/UK about people that fix up tanks for collectors, and man….. they’re cutting two blown up tanks in half, and putting the two good halves together to make one good tank. That’s how hard they are to come by now. And a Tiger? Forget it. Just not out there.

  3. The source website has more info: http://maketoff.net/blog/maket-nemeczkogo-tanka-tigr-vi-belyij-tigr.html

Those guys are not hobbyists. They are a professional studio making replicas for movies.

(NOTE: moderator, could you erase the previous comment, which is almost similar to this comment -I forgot to comment anything-, and this note in brackets? Thanks)

  5. Its truly amazing what an ordinary person or small group of people can do
Who needs big companies do complete such tasks and work

  6. Why are you people complaining?! This is WAY better then computer animated crap as well as the movies where German tanks are either T-34’s or M-46’s just with extra metal or wood on them! These guys rock for bringing history to life and adding realism to movies!

    • I hope you’re joking. Especially this part – “four time less fuel consuming”. Seriously – fuel economy of russian tanks are like compact american cars – no matter how hard they try, it just not the real thing.

  7. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time
a comment is added I get three e-mails with the same comment.

Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
    Cheers!
