These man and woman carry the barrels back because they have mistakenly received diesel fuel. They are heading to Laryak and the trip is going to take them two days.

Approaching Korliki Village.
Day 4. Korliki Village – another nomad camp, 90 km.
Korliki is a large village with a population of 600 people. 400 of them are Khanty. They live in the village most of their time, while men spend a lot of time in their nomad camps hunting.
There are no roads so you can get here by snowmobile, deer or helicopter.

This man is an old friend of the head of the expedition and he welcomes them at his place.
This fur coat is made of deer skins. It is very warm and wearing it you can easily sleep in the snow.

The way from the nomad camp to the village is twice as fast if you go by snowmobile, if compared to deer sledges.
This is another nomad camp on their way. Here they will stay for two days and after that, they plan to reach the center of the USSR.
