A Ship That Will Never Sail Again

A Ship That Will Never Sail Again

Let us visit a ship that failed to become a museum. The entourage remained only in the deck house and captain’s cabin. Other compartments were totally empty.

    • Looks to me like a Krivak I class frigate from the shots of the masts and radar antennae. Of course that’s the NATO designation, I’m sure it’s something else in Russian.

  1. Does anyone ever wonder what the Soviet sailors thought about when on the ship? Were they thinking of the collapse in a few year? Or how they love their country?

    • The photographer stages the fake US currency or sometimes the real small US bills on old ships like this, it’s sorta trade mark of his. 🙄

    • My guess it was a submarine destroyer. In one of the pictures there are instructions for “compelling foreign submarines to surface” 🙂
