Is there any context available for these? Where is this and what was it previously? Why was it abandoned? That sort of thing.
The pictures are great in themselves but I’d be interested in knowing more about the story behind them.

dammit why can’t I ever be 4ist??
Great photos… but is it wrong my favourite part was the stencil of Misha on the rusted truck?
Aaaaw, I see LOTS of invisible zombies tumbling around the town and in the corridors <3 resident evil goes IRL
Name of town?
Girl in blue jacket has a nice butt!!
Is that….. Could it be?? Detroit? Is that you?
Is Detroit very dirty place??? O_o
This is certainly much prettier than Detroit…
To my skeptical eye, this appears to be former military installation, not “institute”, as evidenced by artillery battery.
Yes, I agree.
Love it. <3
A glimpse of tomorrow.
Pretty bleak place, aside from the various river shots.
Cool pictures, neat location. Makes me wonder what the school was used for? Gas masks kinda make you wonder… Thanks for the upload…
The title appears to be wrong. It is more likely a military base/institution. The guns, the gas masks, the family homes.
Is there any place in Russia that is not abandoned and falling apart?
Yes.

I have a difficult time understanding why thousands of people just leave a place like this.
USSR collapsed. The institute collaped. People leaved.
Very hard to guess, huh?
It may well be a former military training facility… Navy perhaps due to the location?
It is so awesome place.
