  1. i lived 300km southwest from Novosib. its about -35 -45 in winter, 2-3 meters of snow (depends of some parameters).

  2. Russia and Canada share many similarities. These pictures seen almost identical to northern Saskatchewan, Canada. Beautiful indeed.

  3. Also lived in another city nearby. There are a lot of damned ticks that carry encephalitis. When we went to the forest we would check each other every 2 hours to make sure no ticks on the skin. In the past government would spray some chemicals around major cities, so it was safer. Now they can bite you even in the city.

    • Alexi, the chemical was probably DDT, which was fine for you, but not so good for other things in the environment. And, the local government probably can’t afford to conduct a mass-spraying in the area any way.
