  1. I guess there are some nice submarines too in Northern Russia and in bases from Far East… And Russia DO have nuclear weapon 😉

  2. How did it reach the dock? What do nuclear weapons have to do with anything? And what does the writer mean by “note some”. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Nuclear? possibly nuclear weapons, but this is a foxtrot submarine (or was one). Diesel electric. Any nuclear weapons were theoretically removed when the Ukraine was spun off of the Soviet Union..

    Awesome pics, REALLY appreciate it!

  4. I can’t ignore the fact that the tags are a bit wrong, again.

This vessel was a part of the Soviet RB Northern Fleet in Murmansk, deployed in 1970. Later went to the Black Sea Fleet. Transferred to the Ukrainian Navy in 1997, so where’s the part where it belonged to the Russian Navy then? Soviet Union isn’t Russia! ):<

AW, I like these kind of articles!

  5. you are right. thank god the ukraine doesn’t have nuclear weapons to maintain if this is the best representation of the state of their military…

  6. This post was very well written, and it also contains many useful facts. I enjoyed your distinguished way of writing the post. You have made it very easy for me to understand.

  7. These are some really great pictures of the sub, thanks for posting!
