If your BOEING 777 gets in trouble in Russia, then no worries engineers can do complex repair works right on place.
This one got it’s engine mechanically damaged in result of an accident.
Some foreign object probably got in.
They got it landed but it couldn’t take off with such a damage apparently.
Then Air France delievered the full new engine.

First!
Not poorly they “have flown”, each petal costs a heap of money, it was easier to buy the new engine
munch munch birds for lunch
Nice pictures 😀
In Russia it is so unbelievable cold, frozen chickens in the air are a real problem to air traffic.
No indoor hanger to work in? I bet the Air France mechanics loved the working conditions.
The airfield didnt have hangar big enough? Also, it’s quite complicated to transfer a plane to another airfield if the plane itself cannot take off.
The 7, 8 and 9 picture are missing.
Great site. Keep doing the good work 😉
Better than the picture I saw of a Chinese aircraft that was using seat belts to hold the engine together. http://ships.bouwman.com/Planes/Bad-Jet-Engine.html
I would not want to be that man in picture no.5. What if someone accidently hit the wrong switch? Ouch!
I don’t belive you
“engineers can do complex repair works right on place”
We can do that here in the UK as well.
its very good information thanks
OH yeah,That’s great
We repair while you wait:)
As far as I recall, this was not a bird strike incident, it was an engine failure in-flight over siberia. There have been a number of such engine incidents with this model of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft
Respect
hope they do good work
🙂 same like this in pentagon 🙂
Eindelijk eens weer een stukje dat het waard is om te lezen. Dankje 🙂
FOD can make such a mess…they’re lucku!
