So what you see is what to be said an entry level test leaked from Russian army. Here is the translation: “Six questions that help to identify any hidden psychological diseases young soldier might. If the soldier can’t see the number in one of the 6 circles on the test picture, the he likely might having:
Can’t see circle 1: High agression, proneness to conflict, the recommendation is to add more physical excercise and cold showers.
Can’t see circle 2: Possible low than average intellectual abilities, can’t serve with sophisticated equipment.
Can’t see circle 3: Possible debauchery, soldier should get increased daily ration, should get more physical activity tasks, should not be connected to food supplies, etc.
Can’t see circle 4: Possible inclination to violence, can be assigend as a leader to his unit, as he can preserve discipline.
Can’t see circle 5: Possible latent homosexuality. Can be light uncontrolled accesses of attraction to the same sex.
Can’t see circle 6: Possible schizophreanic tendency. Required additional inspection.
Every soldier should be tested before assignment, according to the order #2299.”

This is not a psicological tes, is cromosight test, designed to aloww people to identify mutations in eyesight that doesnt allow people to difeenciate diferent kind of colors. illnesses like Daltonism and the like.

It must be a joke. I remember this test – it is given when you undergo a medical checkup before your mandatory military service (well, actually, young men in Russia undergo it when they are 16). It tests color vision and nothing more.

To be correct this information was taken from russian blog sphere, where it appeared as information about one european army test, I don’t remember exactly what army. The test of color viewing is standard, of course, and it exists in every army. But the physicians of this army used the results of some investigations about correlations of color viewing defects and behaviour anomalies.

Ummmmm, Jason, have you ever HEARD of DADT? I have GLBT friends in the military and every day they risk being dishonorably discharged for their sexuality. Thousands are discharged yearly. Many of them are translators or medics too.

Actually, #5 might simply be the control for the test (i.e. if someone claims to see a number in it, he’s lying.)

the original has a 6 in circle #5. whoever made this took the #5 circle, rotated it 90 degrees, and mucked with the colors until the green dots looked orange-pink.
i’ve taken the original and replicated the fake with it using the above steps.

It is simply colour vision test. I think all armies do it and and recruitment agencies for many jobs do it as well. Can’t have a dye master who can not differentiate colours, could you?
