  1. One of the many things I always found curious about Russias is that they refuse to drink anything cold because they believe it will make them ill, yet they can be seen eating ice cream outside on the coldest winter day.

    • The reason is that ice cream in Russia contains much more fat cream and much less ice than you may expect. As a result, its thermal capacity and conductivity are order of magnitude less than you will measure for water or any drink. If you will eat traditional european “soft” ice cream same way then you’ll need aspirin quite soon.

    Все равно его не брошу
    Буду грызть его зубами,
    Потому что он хороший!

  4. We do the same, but insert large stick in Wodka bottle. When freezes, we smash bottle and enjoy very large ice-pop! Only a little glass sharps left, please lick around pieces so tongue not harmed. Works also with goat butter.
