  1. There was a news story from Bulgaria a few years back about a patient who had actually been pushed out of an ambulance by the drivers. Apparently, there is such a long line of patients at the hospital that the ambulances don’t know what to do with the patients. The drivers decided that if there wasn’t much chance then they should just get rid of the patient through some creative means.

    I guess that says something about socialized health care.

      It doesn’t mean all countries with socialist healthcare systems have patients falling out of ambulances. It has to do with the country itself. Considering Bulgaria is an Eastern European nation, it probably has a much lower quality of healthcare than Nordic countries, for example. Both have socialized healthcare, but they differ greatly.

          • Have you been to a US emergency room lately? Try going on a Saturday night about 10pm, when all the poor people bring in their sick kids because they can’t afford a regular doctor. You’d be happy to only wait 5 hours.

            • I don’t think that you’ve ever been to the US. Emergency room visits are far more expensive than a regular doctor. You don’t know what you are talking about.

              • youre wrong. people who dont have any health care at all go to the emergency room because if they cant be refused care or get turned away. duh.

      • Having been a member of the USSR, hasn’t Bulgaria grown faster that Russia? I had the understanding that they embraced Western business practices and education must faster than Russia. Also, why do you think that there aren’t any Bulgarians that participate on this site?

    • Hey Elisei & Sarah,

      Why do you two think there haven’t been any people on here from Bulgaria? Many Bulgarians speak English and it has been taught in there schools for many years. Do Bulgarians just not see much relevance in the former relationships with the USSR?

        Bulgarians are the original group of slavic people: the rest of the slavs including russian are descendants from them (except of cource for Polish people: we all know that poland has only an artificial nation of very strange people); throughout the past 1500 years the’ve remained their independancy and left this planet for 70 years during soviet reign and only came back recently in 1991; it can actually be clearly seen in the video above: ambulance symbolizes their propelled space craft & person flying out of it is them landing painfully back on the surface while everyone else passes by, stares, and goes on;

        now i am going to smoke little bit more;

  2. If it happened in Bulgaria the patient might have been pushed out! How would you like that? Keep thinking that these things don’t matter and then one day it will matter because it will be you. Personally, I would be outraged if I lived in the town where this happened.

  3. Guys, guys, guys.. why all this negativism? The ambulance came back in the end to pick up the patient didn’t it?

    • what makes it worse is that noone stopped and even tried to help this guy. This is so sickening that people could just drive by a man laying in the middle of the highway tunnel and not even try to help.

  5. suprisingly the ambulance came back for this guy who probably would not even think of thanking them for ‘dropping’ him off at the most dangerous place.

  6. Also that Tunnel is wackded, I would of expected the ambulance to drop him out then lose control up the road and crash,
    Then the cars approch the man to swerve into other lanes causeing other cars to roll, flip, crash, ect that seams to happen alot in that tunnel.
