We've come to Naryan-Mar to ask Nikolay, a local shaman, some questions about his life. Nikolay was born in 1969 and grew up in the orphanage. He studied in several technical secondary schools but he never received his diploma. After

long years of looking for his place in this life, he settled down outside Maryan-Mar to open guest tents which are highly popular among both local people and people from other regions of the country. He's not married.

These 5 people at first sight looked like ordinary Buryat men, but after they changed clothes to these bright

costumes and began doing strange things it became clear - they are the very shamans of Buryatia...

At first glance you may think you see some Indian during his traditional ritual on this picture. You'll be half right as this is indeed a ritual of worship, but it

is performed by modern Russian shamans and their guests from abroad, who came to the shaman festival from Mongolia, Germany and the USA. Feel some magic!

Yes, I know that the last video was the last post about Estonia, but we can't pass by this one. This guy on the photo above is Estonian premier minister, the man who as Russian mass media states started this bronze soldier story. And this is

a shaman from Siberia. As Russian newspaper "Tvoy Den" states he was very revolted with the whole story, so he decided to chant day and night using his magical tricks to "kill the evil spirit in Estonian prime minister".
