All Russia is sitting puzzled near their TVs looking on the... wobbling bridge. This phenomena is taking place in on of the Russian towns. The bridge stands across the Volga river and people say that there are absolutely no technical reasons why it should behave like that. It stayed normal for a long time but now it went crazy

without any reasonable reason - there were no earthquakes or strong winds in the area, however I bet you've never saw anything like that, when a heavy concrete bridge paved with a good deal of road surface dances like a soft rubber ribbon. Here is the video too. update: second video has been added

From time to time we publish shots of Russia made from satelites gathered from different places. Today just a few. The first one is the Black Sea - the warmest sea in Russia also bordering Turkey and some other countries. You can see millions of tons of floating plankton. There is an interesting detail about Black Sea. It is also sometimes was called Sea of the Dead in the history. It was so because of it's bottom - there

are no any life forms at its bottom because of the vast amounts of hydrogen sulphide coming out from the holes in the bottom and gathering in masses on the bottom thus not letting any plants or fish to grow there. This hydrogen sulphide is a very easy inflammable gas. So during some strongs storms, like back in 1927 it came out to the surface and was ignited and the sea surface was on fire!

Maksim Dmitriev was born in 1858 in Tambov province. At the age of 15 he became an apprentice of the famous photographer of that time - M.P. Nastiukov, where he obtained basic knowledge about the art of photography. He became famous at the beginning of the 90-s of the XIX century after representation of the exposition called "Bad harvest in Nizhny Novgorod region", where he showed ruined

villages and sick and starving peasants. With this exposition he became the founder of the photo report genre in Russia. Rural dining house on the picture above. 1891-1892. One man creates boats by his own hands. He makes them straight in his flat on the fifth floor, and then likes to go for a row upon the Dnepr river with his family. The creation

of one boat takes about one month but the most difficult aspect is to get if carefully down on the ground from the roof (the boat if too big for the staircase).
