In Russia there are a few traditions for a Jesus Baptism Day. This day is celebrated in 19th of January and the night before the main tradition is to go bathing in some natural source of water. So at this day usually the local rivers and lakes are full of the people wishing to commit this ritual, not minding the temperature of the air and of the water, which is usually just a half
degree up the freezing point at this time of the year. Also, many people in Russia believe that the water being picked up at Baptism Day has some sort of magic. It can be kept next 365 days without getting any smell or become rotten. So many collect the water at that night and keep it at home, drinking it from time to time during all the year.
Lately, in some Russian bookstores this book is a true bestseller. Mostly people buy it as a gift. And here is why. First of all, it's title is "How to earn a million?", well this kind of titles are always very intriguing, but usually contain kind of not so worthy stuff. But believe me, not in this case. Then there goes a
contents. It says: "1. How to earn a million? page. 1" "2. What to do if you have not succeeded in the beginning? page. 17" "3. What to do if you are not sure in success? page. 51" "4. What to do if you have already earned but then spent all the money? page. 87" But what's in the text? Let's see...

players photos on them? Thanks to the Soviet Government Russia kids of 70s also had the possibility enjoying this fun.
Russian city Tyumen is just an ordinary city in Siberia. The company that carries the name of this city in it's title has acquired "British Petroleum" company some time ago. The winters are cold in the city, like in all the outlying region, but they have one attraction that helps to cope those winter. Those are natural hot springs under the open sky. Thousands of people gather there, both locals and visitors, coming from other Siberian cities, like Yekaterinburg and sometimes even from Moscow, the capital of Russia,
to experience the unique contrast of the cold Siberian winter, when the air temperature is about -40 degrees (F/C) and then the hot spring bathing with the water naturally warmed up to 131 F degrees (55 C). It's a big fun to change the cloths in the car and then run to the water for 300 feet from the parking, and then back, after the bathing is over. Just taking a few steps out of the water means that all the water drops turn into solid ice almost instantly.
When rich boys of Moscow don't know what to do some snowy dull winter day they go to the countryside on helicopters and have lotta fun having helicopter race or helicopter cricket
or even shooting down some targets from air. Visitors without helicopters are also accepted and one hour of such games cost around $700 and demand is big.
A new fun is growing in popularity among Russian teenagers in big cities. It is rope jumping from the roofs
of the houses right in the middle of busy city day life. It scares passers-by but who cares?
