We often plan vacations, choose countries where to go. We take cameras with us and usually start using them only upon arrival. And in vain. Because in such a way we risk to miss the most

interesting shots, breathtaking views that can be photographed from a plane. One Russian photographer always has his cam with him when he flies. Here are some of his shots.

Lviv, Ukraine, is a nice city with cool old architecture. Today we are going to visit a House of Scientists which

is located in Lviv. Its interiors are even richer than those of some average palaces. Check out yourself.

All these shots were taken for the project "Best photographs of Russia - 2012". We don't know who was

selecting the best from all and if they are really the best. But they seem to look bright.

All these recognizable ladies were born on the territory of Ukraine. Most of them left the country forever, built their careers

abroad and became very successful. Today they are often listed as the most beautiful representatives of their country.

The show from an aerobatic team "Russkiye Vityazi" ("Russian Knights") in Rostov-on-Don. The team appeared in 1991 at the Kubinka Air Base and performed on

Sukhoi Su-27s. The same year they were already performing in the United Kingdom. More than twenty years have passed but they still make nice shows.

"National Geographic Russia" magazine and the Russian geographic community have held a photo contest "Wild Nature of Russia 2012". The photos must be taken all over Russia and feature

landscapes, wild animals in natural habitat, underwater shots etc. Only Russians can participate in the contest. Below are some photos from the contest held last year.
