Inflatable S-300 air defense system

The S-300PMU [SA-10 land-based, SA-N-6 naval version] surface-to-air missile system is able to engage a number of targets simultaneously, countering intensive aircraft raids at low-to-high altitude. The SA-10 offers significant advantages over older strategic surface-to-air missile systems, including multitarget handling and engagement characteristics, a capability against low altitude targets with small radar
cross-sections such as cruise missiles, a capability against tactical ballistic missiles, and possibly a potential to intercept some types of strategic ballistic missiles. It was Russia's best system in this class. Real threat to enemy planes and ballistic missiles. Costs hundres thousands dollars each. And now a budget version - inflatable. First check the real thing:

5 Stolen wheels

Stolen wheels

You probably remember this article, there was a large gallery (more than 40 photos) of top cars (mostly worth over $150,000 each) captured on the streets of Moscow, sometimes covered with
snow. Here is another one. The guy probably left his Mercedes SL 600 AMG unattended and less fortunate citizens borrowed his AMG top class wheels (probably worth $2000 each).

Perelman, “the maths genius living in property”, today officially refused Field’s medal

We already have mentioned the strange behavior of Gregory Perelman. Today the Fields medal congress has started in Madrid, and their press service officially declared that Perelman refuses to accept his Field’s medal, an award that’s being considered as important among mathematicians as  Nobel prize  among other scientists.  It is not known why Nobel chose not to establish a prize in Mathematics, although there are several
theories about the lack of one, nevertheless the  history of the Fields Medal begins in the Committee of the International Congress set up by the University of Toronto in November of 1923, with the purpose of organizing the 1924 Congress to be held in Toronto. This decision of the bright mathematician confuses the Field’s medal commission. They actually now don’t know to whom they can award the prize.

pay the road tickets in the bank - all the "situations" are resolved right on site with the help of a few bills. Probably this is a reason for such videos.

Bentley in snow

People in Russia who became rich very fast ready to spend hundreds of thousands dollars on the top luxury cars. Moscow is the most populated with expensive cars city in Europe. You can meet them practically on every corner of Moscow downtown. Visitors from Europe say that Moscow is the only city in Europe where you can meet two or three cars worth of more than $200k each at once in one street or standing at one
traffic light. Probably it reminds Arabian countries, where sheikhs love expensive cars also. One difference is that in Moscow the most expensive cars in the world are surrounded by a huge Russia itself, where the average salary of a school teacher is around $1200 a year. That's not a typo, an average school teacher in countryside gets paid not more than $100-$150 per month.
