Interesting. I wonder if he realizes how much gold there is in those old CPUs? from some tests I’ve done on old CPUs, some have about a gram of gold, plus some platinum, but the newer they are, the less they have.

    5. Take note people this is what a virgin looks like

    6. He needs to put his cell phone number on that display. The ladies will be calling for sure…they love virgins.

Damn, that’s impressive. I’ve only got, 40, maybe 50, from 1980’s to mid 1990’s - I worked at a computer liquidator as a kid and so the garbage ones I kept the CPU’s out of them. I liked how they looked. 286, 386 and 486, and early Pentium have much gold in them. I sold a box full 20 kilos of them on eBay for almost $1000 some 4-5 years ago for scrap metal.

Now, I should have just extracted the gold myself and sold it to my uncle, a jeweller!

I still have a few left like this, but I would not destroy them in this fashion.

The photos don’t do much to show off the collection. In fact, all the ones I can read in that last photo are things I find in computers around my office here in the U.S. all the time.
