Places i liked and can recommend for young adults in Petersburg: Wonder Island (Divo Ostrov) and Aquarium in Planet Neptunus. Winter palace and church of holy blood were cool too. _________________ Random traveler - Satunnainen matkailija |

Really itching to go now, have to wait until exams are over and save up monies etc. I thought i'd try and learn conversational Russian, emphasis on try. It can't be that hard....can it. lol |
Harry where abroad have you been? Maybe i'll be able to draw some parallels for you... |
Well, i've been all over europe, particularly Germany, France and Italy. Been to Colorado, America once also the Chubu region of Honshu in Japan. I don't think they'll be much like Russia though. |
From my experience, Russia is more like Italy. |
MMmmmm... there are actually more Ferraris and Lambos in Russia than in Italy |

BTW are there any "train passes" in Russia ? Some tickets that would allow you to go almost everywhere in Russia with one ticket for a defined time, like the Europass ?
That would be a nice way to discover the country. |
