The Ukrainian Defense Department has published photos of new fortification structures they are erecting these days near Mariupol city. This city was widely rumoured to be the scene of the next major battle last year after Donetsk and Lughansk, but it
turned out to be relatively peaceful except for one devastating shelling of the city suburbs and maybe a few other minor incidents. So they are building these structures - not from wood as might be seen here, but from metal boxes
