Man has got inherited an absolutely new Soviet LADA Sputnik 2109 car. It has only 49 km on it, still in factory packaging on the seats, was stored in a garage.
Looks like his grandfather has never used it. And this was the most "luxury" car late Soviet people dreamed off. Even some Russian songs mention it.

Russian Gaz-21 Volga Time Capsule

Gaz-21 Volga car was a symbol of luxury in 1950-1960s in USSR. Very expensive, hard to get, the car that was used by part officials and rich farmers of Georgia alike was attracting sights on the streets. Pity but not many of those survived till now.
However this time guy got lucky - guy discovered a fully untouched car with just around 20,000 km on it. The paint is still shiny and bright as it was sheltered in a garage. No corrosive spots, clean interior, let's take a look!

Russian Queen Ekaterina has founded Kherson as a fortress and shipbuilding dock in 1778. It was first ever Russian Black Sea Navy base. Soviet power over Kherson was established in 1920 after a short Russian Civil War.

It was built to be able to communicate via satellites with all top important things in Russia.  It had served variety of tasks. from USSR to the middle of nowhere in Pacific. Also to support communication with Soviet space objects - MIR station, Soyuz spaceships etc., when the coverage from on ground stations is poor it could go to any place in ocean and stay there linking Earth with space. As we examined LPR capital in the past four parts, now we will go through the far outskirts of distant suburbs and immediate surroundings. There are also a quite traditional attractions like Slavyanoserbskaya manor in Aleksandrovskoe or memorial on the sharp tomb, there is an Aviation Museum under the open sky, that impresses not only with
exhibits but with many signs of war on them, and there is finally a lot of traces of town abortive siege by Ukrainian army in the summer of 2014, whether it is a destroyed airport or abandoned positions near from the unattainable happiness. Here is the place in Donetsk  where only the war remains. It is a ruined Donetsk Airport. A traveller went there and see his pictures and words about this place: I must say right away that though we aren't hippies, there were five of us who went to the airport. Three of us were Russian
citizens, and two of us were the citizens of the NATO countries - Poland and Latvia; two of us (myself and the Pole) had accreditations of "civilian" journalists without the right to visit the combat zone, and only one person from our team was not a guest in the DPR.

In Mariupol, Ukraine an interesting concert has taken place. A musician collective known as  Lening Chamber Orchestra has played a composition of their choice inside one of the huge rooms of Mariupol Steel Production Plant. The piece they
played was the theme from "Game of Thrones". It looked pretty interesting with flames of fire of real steel being produced bursting in the background and lighting their faces as they played. You can see it yourself on this video.
