Suggestive Toys
Ever wondered how plush toys do look like in Russia. If they use same teddy bears as American kids have or they have some Ivan Bears?
I am not sure about little Winnie-the-Poohs but they for sure have some tigers and more, being done on this toy factory.
And no matter what toys they would make for Russian children they still are afraid of N1H1 virus using masks too.
Toys, 24×7
In this small Russian town some people earn their leaving by selling the soft toys day and night to the passengers of passing though trains.
Russian Pigs
Lately Russian children can buy for themselves such a strange toy in the shops. It is a figure of a pig with a “passport”-like id, describing it (see on photo).
People investigated the manufacturer and it came out that the toys come from China and mainly for European markets, so they are not supposed to appear in Russia. The manufacturer makes different toys of animals and “populate” with them different countries. He has chosen Russia for pigs, but asked distributors not to sell the toys directly in Russia but preferred Western countries.
And the toy originates from China. Now people who have seen this ask if it was done on purpose or it’s just a pure coincidence.
Soviet Toys
During the Soviet times all the toys were manufactured only on a dozen of state owned factories. All toy designs were certified with Communist Party of Soviet Union and they were lazy to certify a lot so there were not a big freedom of choice for Russian kids at that time. And it wasn’t just toys that were the same for almost everyone. Going from home to home you could see the same furniture, same cloths and same home appliances and all those homes were in the same multi-stored buildings. It was the time of total unification, so if anybody is from that times he would for sure mark most of those toys as “Man, I had them too!”
Saddam and Bush Stand Together
One guy has sent it photos of the toys his kids play in the local kindergarten in Russia. It seems that some Russian kids even at early age are fond of playing in Bush and Saddam…
More Russian Toys
We’ve seen sometime ago the dolls that were being imported for Russian kids, and now somebody sent us a sleigh he bought for his kid. This time it’s even not a Chinese, but a German product. But I wonder if they sell them to any other countries except Russia, or would it be more correct to ask if parents in some other country buy this?
And would you buy such sleigh for your kids?
