Polar bears on Russian submarine

Russian sailors serving on submarines has noticed interesting fact - the most preferred food for polar bears is bread, they like it very much, just look on those photos, how they risking their lives jump from one ice piece to another to get closer to the submarine and ask some more of this when the submarine appears on the surface of the cold polar ocean breaking the thin ice apart.

World’s Biggest Submarine [with pics]

World's Biggest Submarine - Russian Submarine Typhoon

This is submarine “Typhoon” as it was called in NATO documents or “Shark” as it was called in Russia. It is considered to be the biggest submarine in the world, with over than 170 meters (515 feet) long and 23 meter (70 feet) wide. It can carry 20 ballistic nuclear missiles and there were only six of those built. Only 3 left intact, but are staying now out of service with armament control blocks detached according to the agreement between USSR and USA signed by M. Gorbachev. Without those they are way too peaceful.

Russian World’s Largest Military Hovercraft

Largest hovercraft 1

This is the world’s largest military hovercraft and it belongs to the Russian army.
It is armed with missiles, artillery and AA defense guns and can carry a few heavy tanks at once.
After approaching to the enemy coastline it can give a burst of fire to tear of such fierce force that can tear big military ship apart, then without any slowing down start moving on the shore advancing deep inside to unload the tanks and infantry.

All those Soviet Navy ships were never built. Soviet Union had great plans on getting them in action but it never happened because of its collapse. Now we can see only the models in the official Navy Museum.
