MAKS 2007 International Air Show
Last week the International Air Show “MAKS 2007″ took place near Moscow, during it the visitors were able to see the most various aircraft models of the different countries, piloting by the best world-famous pilots.

The Flying KAMAZ
In our recent publications we’ve already told, that the first KAMAZ model (Kamsky car factory) was developed by ZIL car factory in the late 70s. Since then KAMAZ trucks have become widely used in the most different fields. For example, it is the most popular truck among common Russian truckers who deliver loads everyday, and it is not surprising, because KAMAZ is the regular winner of Paris - Dakar European race. Just see it in action.
But what’s about Russian militaries? They went even further and made KAMAZ fly.

Military Aircraft Show in Monino. Moscow
On the 11th of August the military aircraft show devoted to the 95th anniversary of the Russian Miltary Air Forces took place at the Monino airport, situated near Moscow. During that performance one could see the legendary Russian aircraft models, on the ground and of course in action, such as SU-27, KA-50 Black Shark and many, many others.

Antonov. The World’s Heaviest and Largest Jet
Antonov or AN-225 is the world’s heaviest and largest jet ever built with the landing gear system of 32 wheels and a wing span of 291 feet. It was designed for the Soviet space program in 1988 and able to airlift the Energia rocket’s boosters, Buran space shuttle or ultra-heavy and oversize freight, up to 250,000 kg (550,000 lb) internally or 200,000 kg (440,000 lb) on the upper fuselage. Cargo on the upper fuselage can be 70 m long.
