Hobbit Huts in Latvia
A Latvian billionaire implemented a fantastic project nearby Cēsis town in Latvia. If you’ve believed there is no Sun City, only Sin City, now you can see that you’ve been totally wrong. There people live according to special rules and have a routine different from those of common human beings. The three-storey houses are constructed of green materials and are located on various height so that the dwellers don’t see other houses from the windows of their own. Soviet Radio Telescopes
Somewhere between Ventspils and Kolka cape in Latvia (ex-Soviet country) is located two radio telescopes (also known as “zvjozdachka” - the star), that in those days were one of most secret elements in soviet army. There are two antennas left – RT-32 (main dish is 32 meters in diameter) and RT-16 (16 meters). The smallest one – RT-10 – was taken away when soviet soldiers left Latvia in 90-ies. With those antennas Russian forces were able to spy phone calls everywhere they wanted.

Future Face of Gagarin
Yuri Gagarin, first man in space, first Russian cosmonaut, you probably know him.
People from Latvia know him too, they say that during the Soviet Times Russian authorities wanted to rename Latvian capital city Riga after Yuri Gagarin to Gagarin city, but they didn’t for some reason. So they decided to commemorate the glory of the hero in bit different way. They have made a monument of Gagarin, but not just a monument. Yuri tragically died in plane accident during the test flights he participated in while on his service in Russian army in his young age. Latvian monument builders decided to imagine what if he didn’t die how he could like at his 70s and built such a monument which tends to look how Yuri Gagarin could look in his old ages. The Soviet Exotics Museum
In Latvia they have a special museum for those who would like to dive into the now not present world of the Soviet exotics. Every visitor has to wear Soviet Russian prisoners cloths and when enters is being humiliated by the staff dressed as Soviet army soldiers. They yell on and almost beat all the visitors, force them to do things, wear gas masks, run distances and many many more things to do. Hard times he experiences there until this guided tour is ended.
