DIY Local Globes

In Russia and other post Soviet countries there were a real craze on independence after they finally got it with USSR collapse. Sometimes this took some weird forms like, for example, making the globes of their own country. Yes, those were just like regular globes we used to see on geography classes but instead the whole world only their own country was mapped on it.
These things were officially on sale and still you can buy something like “the globe of Ukraine” in shops of Kiev.
So then people went further and decided to make the globes of their local cities or even villages. With modern technologies this can be done by practically anyone just in a few minutes and then can be used to amaze the friends and relative. We’ll show you how. As a result we can get such neat globe of your place like on the picture above.

Some Other Russian-Estonian Monuments

While hundreds people quarrel online and offline about the Soviet Bronze Soldier monument moved to another place by Estonian authorities, some more Soviet monuments can be found treated totally with lack of any respect in the back yard of “Museum of History” in the capital of Estonia - Tallinn. Anyone can come and see Stalin, Lenin and other Russian Soviet heroes standing and lying scattered all over the backyard, together with stone tombs which were saint for all Soviet people who trusted in Soviet state, now probably waiting their turn to go to scrap site.

The Shaman Against Estonia

Yes, I know that the last video was the last post about Estonia, but we can’t pass by this one. This guy on the photo above is Estonian premier minister, the man who as Russian mass media states started this bronze soldier story.

And this is a shaman from Siberia. As Russian newspaper “Tvoy Den” states he was very revolted with the whole story, so he decided to chant day and night using his magical tricks to “kill the evil spirit in Estonian prime minister”.
