Here is a darkly beautiful set of photographs taken in Chernobyl, Ukraine, the sight of the worst nuclear power plant disaster in history.
As these relics have barely been touched in the 23 years since the accident, they provide a rare glimpse of original USSR architecture and artifacts.
The Real STALKER 2

Some time ago we had some photos of Russian guys playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game for real. They had a lot of cool hardware like AK-47 guns and Soviet style gas masks. For those who doesn’t know the game it’s game play takes place in Chernobyl, at the powerplant blow up site and so do those guys - they play this game right in Chernobyl where the ground and some metal structures still hold unreal doses of radiation and people don’t live there yet, and it’s said they won’t in the nearest fifty years. /p>
All this don’t stop them. This year they have better hardware, better costumes - just like a real thing. Coming from different parts of Russia and other countries just to participate or see this with their own eyes. You can check it out now.
Chernobyl News

Today we have some news from Chernobyl, the place of the Soviet Nuclear disaster.
The first one is about giang fishes nowadays can be found in the rivers of Chernobyl. Lately people all the time witness them, and Chernobyl travel trips now include special bus stops on the bridges to make photos of those puppies.
They have been reported to reach 3-4 meteres long (10-13 feet). Many stories now being told about the military diver that lost his hand thanks to one of those and some other horrifying tales. People say that the bottom mud is still radioactive in Chernobyl rivers which allows these fish get that size.
Chernobyl Scrap Metal

Hundreds of pieces of Russian army hardware is left on the small field right near to Chernobyl. All this machinery has participated in Chernobyl accident liquidation and is radioactive from top to toe. Now it dies out under the open skies of deserted Chernobyl. The Real S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

These guys play popular S.T.A.L.K.E.R. video game for real. They on purpose go to the Chernobyl area of the nuclear disaster explosion site dress in Stalker themed cloths and play, even involving armored vehicles and real guns. And that’s all just a few yards away from the disaster site, the place where there is still a high dose of radiation in the soil.
“Duga”, the Steel Giant Near Chernobyl

When someone goes to Chernobyl he often misses one thing that could be of big interest and is located just a few miles away from the exploded nuclear power plant.
This one is one of the three alike built by Russian army in Russia during the iron curtain times. It was used for some of their military purposes but as you can see is abandoned now.
Mushroom Mutants

Strange looking mushrooms can be found in the numerous forests of Russia. Is this somehow related with Chernobyl?
The Chernobyl Dating

So this is probably the strangest photo-session from Chernobyl. It has been conducted in the abandoned amusements park, showing the harsh reality of man/woman relations in Chernobyl area.
If some girl wants to date a boy in Chernobyl park, they for sure need to wear some protective suits, but these suits isn’t a big barrier when there is passion between them.
Chernobyl Yesterday and Today: The Video

This is an amateur video of Chernobyl area today and before and during the nuclear disaster 20 years ago. We’ve had a few sets of contemporary Chernobyl like this and this but this is the first video.
Also see the strange wild animals at the end of the video - they look like horses but disproportionately big heads, looking like big-sized ponies, are they also the victims of radiation?

Helicopter Crash in Chernobyl
This is the video of a helicopter with crew of military pilots spreading anti-radiation solution across the blown-up reactor of Chernobyl nuclear plant.
This crew before was participating in Afghanistan war, so it was a team of military profesionals. Just before this final flight they asked a guy with a camera, a journalist from the local newspaper to make them a group photo, this photo you can see in the beginning of the video.
The story of this crash was censored and were not showed in Russian media till early 90s.
