Did anyone die?
what was the destination of the train? Kiev - lvov?
Nobody died, one man injured, but already came out of hospital. The destination of the train was Dnipropetrovsk-Kiev. Probably the reason of crash was a bad quality of the rails (this train travels at a speed about 100 km/h), but the Minister of Transpotation and Communication inisists on a terrorist act.
Just look at the dirty shock absorbers and the messy rest of the gear. Does anyone really wonder why this train left it’s tracks? What do you expect with obviously neglected maintenance?

In Russia, rails flip you!
Ukraine IS NOT russia.
The reason is the basement of rails (primer, ground) and alignment, not rails (steel) particularly.
What is the object stuck under the railcar in the 9th picture from the top?
It kind of looks like an industrial fan?
Two cylinders are the reservoirs for the air brakes, while the plate covering them is a heat shield.
