>Al Qaeda- Russia invades Afghanistan, pissing off Mujahadeen. Leaves huge amount of weapons in Afghanistan, Taliban uses to come to power.
>Iraqis- See Iranians, but add Russia Spetznaz helps, Saddam, move Poison Gas and Biologicals to Syria before U.S. invades.
>Nicaraguans- Sandinista armed by Russia trained by Cuba. Oh yea Cuba, Russian armed and trained and became Russia’s surrogate in (choke-choke!!) “liberating” Africa & South America.
>Panamanians- Yes, those outlaw people that allow the world’s shipping to use their canal. Oh, I forgot they charge for passage then use the money to keep the canal running.
>Bay of Pigs invades- See Cuba in Nicaraguans above. You also must remember the Bay of Pigs was U.S. backed Cuban ex patriots wanting to take their country back from a Dictator!
>Taliban and assorted Mujahadeen- See Al Qaeda above.
>Pinochet- I give you this one, but he only harmed his own people, staying with in his country’s borders. He didn’t kill near as many of his own people as Hitler did. For that matter the great Russian leader Stalin killed more of his own people then Pinochet and Hitler combined, throw in the millions of Chinese killed by Mao with Stalin’s, read as Russian’s, backing and folks we have a winner!

Comrade Kalashnikov sounds like he has seen better days. He sounds like a bit of dementia has set in or something.
He`s old, but he`s quite sane. This project has met some offense among people, so authorities called for Kalashnikov to personally approve it. Kalashnikov said that building scyscrapers in form of whatever is none of his business, and said go bother teh president of Udmurtia Republic.

Most Kalashnikovs that are used outside Russia were made in China.
No wonder, the times when they start to assemble MIGs or Stealths is coming. At least everyone second of them will fly and the third will shoot. So it will be just enough to put the end to Western civilization and Russia too.
That’s so Russian. They’re are not doing it because of praising killing or other similar reasons, that’s too smart for them. You see the Russian exotic way of thinking. They just think it’s gonna be cool!! It’s great, this weapon made us famous! Let’s make a monument! Very big and very great! What is this “pacifism” others are talking about? No idea! It’s just a great monument!
Being Latvian (former USSR) I know Russians well and their way of thinking often just plainly amazes me. Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s stupid and annoying and sometimes it’s just plain dangerous (when responsible people are those acting irresponsibly and short-minded).
Of course, it doesn’t refer to all Russians, I know many smart and educated Russians too, but a tendency can be seen :).
Russians don’t impose their “exotic way of thinking” (Does it really exist?) to anyone. It seems that every nation believes that it is great, of course it concerns to Latvians too. If I was a latvian i would be proud of my country and exaggerate every achievement of my people. But I’m russian and I’m proud of everything we are doing good. What’s wrong with this?
And finally, make the better gun and I will be the first who will say: “Wow, those latvians are so great!”
That traditional remark about “smart and educated Russians” doesn’t make you any less of a vile chauvinist.
The Russians as a people seem so proud of the thing, justifiably so, yet they are not enthusiastic for allowing themselves to personally own them. They build a building that pays tribute to a gun that they can not own. Meanwhile, back in the USA, the National Rifle Association headquarters looks like any other office building. There is irony in this some place.
You guys can hate all you want, you just jealous that no American assault rifle will ever come close to being as good/reliable/cheap/deadly as a good old AK-47
